Voice vs Small wearable monitor

A small wearable monitor (eg google glass) shows few information. It distracts the sight atentions of users.  It can be dangerous.

Why not use voice as computer output?  You don’t have to block your ears if you hear through bones, and your ears are free. Your eyes are free. You can walk on the road safely.

  1. However, bandwidth of “mind attention” is limited also. Therefore, computer must be aware of threats for the users when contact with them ideally. 😉

  2. Thank you for your comment. I am not sure which of sight or audio consumes more cognitive resource to pay attention while human is doing real world tasks (walking etc). We need experiment and validation.
My point is that a small monitor may be not be so useful.
